  i have had two of my dearest loved ones donate their bodies to genesis, and i cannot rave enough about every aspect of the genesis experience. i am deeply grateful for all that they do, and the respect, honor, and sacredness with which they treat the donor and their family from beginning to end. death is an uncomfortable thing to face for most of us, but we need to make arrangements that reflect our values and wishes while we are able. i recommend this to everyone i feel a sense it is ok to speak with about it.

  In 2007, my mother suddenly became critically ill and passed without ever speaking with me about her final wishes. She had told us that she wanted to be cremated. When our local funeral home director met with us (mere minutes after Mom passed) and told my sister and me about Genesis, I felt that God was answering my prayers.
  I still feel that way eight years later. Unless our daughters strongly object, we are going to use the services provided by Genesis when our time comes.
