  FULL DISCLOSURE: I previously attended this church for a number of years and only recently grew disenchanted with the leadership.
  
  I truly believe that God redeems the souls of his children regardless of how shoddy their church leadership may be. That being said, Highpoint Church thrives by portraying itself as being different from traditional Baptist (and other stale denominations) churches in the Memphis area. The pastors deceive newcomers by portraying HP as independent and nondenominational when that is an obvious lie.
  
  Highpoint is officially a Baptist church by its theology, membership in the Mid-South Baptist Association, and how the church is ruled by the pastors. They try their best to portray the "cool" factor but compromise their integrity by misleading its members and guests about what the church's allegiance to the Southern Baptist tradition.
  
  There is a reason why HP always has new people attending its services. The many seasoned believers who struggle with maintaining their faith lives that continually leave this church do so after realizing that there isn't much substance to HP besides the catchy graphics, loud music, website and social media channels.
  
  I took a chance on this church because I honestly felt it was on a mission to truly impact a hurting city. I was wrong.

  We've been going to Highpoint for a while now and after having tried a number of churches, we finally found home. You will never find a better group of people. We love it here.

  I LOVE my church! "Perfect place for imperfect people." There's room for everyone at either campus; East Memphis, Collierville, or Arlington. Come join us and hear an incredible message from God!!
